Thank you for choosing Sportsman's Boat Storage! Our most unique service is the John Deere tractor valet launching service. This allows you to have a worry free experience of getting your boat into & out of the water. We would like to remind you of the procedures for our tractor service:
-When you are ready to be picked up in the storage and taken to the water:
(1) Enter the storage area where your boat is located at an idle speed. (2) Remove the cover from your boat. (3) Load all of your items, including food, beverages, ice, & inflated water devices. (4) Park your car in designated spaces. (5) Call the office by Marine Radio on channel 69 or by phone @ 731-689-5252, providing your LAST NAME and SLIP #. (6) Make sure the battery is charged, the drain plug is in, & the boat is hooked to tractor correctly & completely. (7) You & your party ride in the boat to the ramp. (8) Let the tractor driver know that the boat is started, you are ready to be launched, and if you will be returning on the same day or staying out overnight. (9) Have a Great Time!
-When you are ready to be picked up and return to the storage: (1) Call the office by Marine Radio on channel 69 or by phone @ 731-689-5252. (Call in at the NO WAKE zone at Aqua Yacht Harbor). If you call from a cabin or other location, please be precise as to the time given for your pick up so that other customers will not be delayed. (2) Be able to recognize your trailer and be ready to load as quickly as possible. (3) Let the tractor driver know when the trailer is at the correct depth to load your boat without scratching the bow. (4) Drive the boat all the way up to the bow stop. (5) Trim the outdrive up & turn off the engine. (6) Please remain seated while the tractor & boat are in motion. (7) Direct the tractor driver into the slip, watching for obstacles, & position the boat & trailer correctly into your slip.
Boat launching & loading is the boat owner’s responsibility, and we cannot be held responsible for damage. Occasionally, our tractor service is delayed due to uncontrollable circumstances, such as traffic at the ramp or store, boat breakdowns, holiday traffic, etc. Please allow enough time for delays & be patient during these times, as we are moving as quickly as possible.
